I was fortunate enough to be referred to Mr Robertson by my GP after a scan revealed I had Gallstones. I was amazed at how quickly Mr Robertson saw me. After my intial meeting with him he sent me for a MRI the following week with an apointment to discuss the results with him the day after the scan. He then explained the procedure for removing my Gallbladder and booked me in for the op 10 days later. I duly arrived at the Nuffield 10 days later and was treated with the utmost care and respect by all. I was shown to my room which was spotless and very comfortable. A very nice young lady came round with a menu for me to choose my breakfast for the following morning and a snack for after my op. My nurse came in to take me through what would happen next. Mr Robertson came in and took me through the procedure making sure I was ok with everything. Within two hours of checking in I was taken down for the op. I received great care overnight by Choo, a great nurse. I was checked out the next morning by Mr Robertson and allowed to go home. I have just been to see him today for my post op check up. I would not hesitate in recommending Mr Roberston or the staff at the Nuffield. They are all caring, kind and proffesional and treat you with the utmost respect. Thank you all.

Mr Robertson was reassuring and encouraging from the first appoinment. He put me at ease and was very direct. Before the procedure he gave me a great deal of information, leaving no area uncovered. I would recommend this doctor due to his professionalism and attentiveness. I felt in safe hands from start to finish.

The care and treatment I received at Nuffield under Mr Gavin Robertson was excellent. Throughout he was re-assuring and informative and as regards the operation itself, I experienced no pain and I recovered in about a week. I should add that the other members of staff were equally caring and helpful. I could not have had a better service.

Mr Robertson has a very calm manner which instills confidence and calmness as a patient. As well as that he was open to all questions and provided an excellent service of care from the intial consultation to the pre and post surgery check in's and finally through to the follow up. Highly recommended.

Two weeks ago I had my appendix and gall bladder removed by Mr. Robertson. I was very nervous about the operation, but he fitted me in in less than a week so there was no time to worry. The operation went well and was no where near as bad as I expected and I have recovered very quickly. Mr. Robertson was kind and caring, as were the staff at the Spire. It was the best hospital experience I have had and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
